Meet EvanAnn – Your SEO Sleuth & Digital Strategy Architect

Hi, I’m EvanAnn - part strategist, part optimizer, and a full-time digital detective. My obsession with the online world started back in the days of Myspace customization and deep dives into Tumblr themes. But while others were just scrolling, I was dissecting, figuring out what made websites tick, what made users click, and what made rankings stick.

Fast forward to today, I’ve turned that early curiosity into a career rooted in performance driven SEO. I build search strategies that don’t just check boxes they move needles. From scaling organic revenue for global retailers to auditing technical SEO at enterprise scale, I bring clarity, creativity, and a bit of Python-powered automation to every project.

2025 - Present

Searchie Digital| SEO Specialist Consultant

At Searchie Digital, I help B2B and marketing teams turn organic search into a real growth driver. I’m the one digging into site health, building strategies that boost revenue by 10 - 15% month over month, and connecting the dots between technical SEO and conversion ready content. I automate the repetitive stuff with Python and AI, so the focus stays on what actually moves the needle. Whether it’s a messy sitemap or a missed keyword opportunity, I turn it into a clear plan that drives traffic and results - without the jargon overload.

2022-2024

Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI) | Associate Program Manager, SEO 

At REI, I led a local SEO program that helped bring in over $200 million in organic revenue each year. I uncovered big wins in how the site was organized; like reworking navigation and category pages, which led to an extra $1.1 million in revenue. I worked hand-in-hand with paid search teams to make sure we were hitting the right keywords from all angles, built dashboards that actually told a useful story, and regularly shared growth roadmaps with leadership to keep things moving in the right direction.

2020-2022

Bed Bath & Beyond | Senior SEO Analyst

At Bed Bath & Beyond (and buybuyBABY), I tackled technical SEO projects that made a real impact—boosting traffic by 17% and driving a 10% jump in revenue. When the team went through a leadership change, I stepped up as the interim manager, kept everything on track, and supported the team through the transition. I also rolled out a content strategy across both the U.S. and Canadian sites, making sure every page worked smarter—not just harder—for organic performance.

2018-2020

Build-A-Bear Workshop | SEO Manager 

I started at Build-A-Bear as an analyst and quickly moved into the SEO Manager role, where I got to lead some seriously fun (and high-performing) projects. I blended paid and organic strategies to drive over 100% growth in paid social traffic and saw a 34% lift in orders across U.S. and U.K. markets. On the SEO side, I helped boost natural search traffic by 20% and increased organic order conversions by 23%. I worked directly with the CMO, managed budgets, and kept our cross-functional teams aligned and efficient through internal documentation and shared processes.
